Our past contest winners!
|Our Current Contest|
September ContestOur next Contest is "Woodland Creatures"
This is a Contest Group!
There are two different types of contests: creation and customization (read more on the types below).
There will be two winners each contest who will have their work featured and will receive other prizes based on member support.
The deadline for any contest is the last day of the month.
The Group Admins judge the contests. The judge will be announced in the contest journal. If an Admin is not judging, they are allowed to participate and even win a contest. To get to know your Admins check out the "About Us" page!
We do not allow normal submissions, please only submit photos of contest entries.
In a pattern creation contest, you will have to create your own design based off of an idea or theme. Due to the four-week deadline, these will usually be fairly simple creations. (We may have some larger ones with an extended deadline in the future).
With a Pattern Customization contest, you will be provided with a basic pattern. The real competition will be how you customize your pattern. For example, if the pattern was a basic rabbit, you could make a hat for it, or even do a crossover of a favorite character.
Questions? Just ask!
We our prize donors! If you can donate prizes for the winners, just note us!
This month we are inspired by the theme "Woodland Creatures!" Use a pattern or create your own- as long as it's based on something you'd find in the forest...you can enter it for this contest (Yes, fantasy creatures are ok too!). If you have a question about your idea, just ask in the comments! Make sure if you use a pattern to link it in your description.
Your amigurumi project must reflect the Woodland Creatures theme.
Make sure if you use a pattern to give the appropriate credits in your description; add a link to the pattern, or at the least mention the Blog it came from.
Please add our icon to your description. You can do this by typing : icon amigurumi-challenge : without the spaces. FAQ #81: How can I create links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?
