  We love Amigurumi. Just can't get enough of it. If you have never heard of this wonderful craft, let me help you: [link] Every three weeks, a contest will be held. There are two different types, pattern creation and pattern customization (Read more on the types below). There will also be two winners each week who will have their work featured and will receive other prizes based on member support. The deadline for any contest is two weeks. The Group Admins judge the contests. The judge will be announced in the contest journal. If an Admin is not judging, the are allowed to participate and even win a contest. To get to know your Admins check out the "About Us" page!  We do not allow normal submissions, please only submit photos of contest entries.The Contest Types: Pattern Creation In a pattern creation contest, you will have to create your own pattern based off of an image, character or theme. Due to the three-week deadline, these will usually be fairly simple creations. (We may have some larger ones with an extended deadline in the future). Pattern Customization With a Pattern Customization contest, you will be provided with a basic pattern. The real competition will be how you customize your pattern. For example, if the pattern was a basic rabbit, you could crochet a hat for it or sew a massive smile on it etc. Please post any questions in the comments section! We  our prize donors! You can make any amigurumi-type thing you like as long as it stays with the theme.
Make sure if you use a pattern to give the appropriate credits in your description. May 21st is the LAST day that you can submit your entry. New submissions only! I will only accept submissions for this contest that have been made during the contest time. You can submit multiple entries! But, please only submit one project per deviation. If you would like to have multiple shots, stitch the pictures together in your favorite editor.
I judge work based on creativity and craftsmanship. Please try to submit a clear photo of your work, this helps me make the best choice. Setting a scene and providing a description of your project- which may include work process and inspiration, are always a plus!
